DJ was born and raised in Charlotte, NC, but Cherokee, NC has become his second home. He is a graduate of Western Carolina University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance with a Dance Minor. DJ began his journey as a dancer  with the Unto These Hills  and has worked his way up to Dance Captain, Assistant Choreographer, and is now the Head Dance Choreographer. He has Choreographed numerous shows at Western Carolina University as well as performing for Cedar Fair Amusement Parks. He loves working with young artists and inspiring them to find their passions within the Arts.
